Host a car donation event for single moms.
Time: 8am - 12pm
Location: Cherry Hills Community Church parking lot or Ministry Center Lobby if weather is bad!
Project Attire: Please dress for the weather!
Hi faithful ones!
We are very excited about this wonderful event tomorrow! Thanks to all of you who have offered to help in various ways.
Please sign up all in your family who are attending the event, so we have a better idea on how much food to have (hoping for at least 25 from our Valor Section plus the families who are receiving cars to attend, total of 50 ish):

Here is what my understanding is of who is doing what tomorrow:
3 families who will be HOSTS/DONATING A CAR CARE BAG:

Your basic duties include loving on these folks and making the experience warm and comfortable. One family is a military family, who was recommended by Wes, who leads the Military Section at CHCC. This family is receiving a van. I am not sure who the other two families are. See you by 8:30 and we can match you.
Food, set up and decorating, clean up helpers, celebrators: (if the weather is bad we will be moving the party inside the Welcome Center, so we would just set up there instead of outside).
Susie and Katie Kraeski - Large Fruit Tray and will be at the event, manning a Pancake Station if needed!
Michelle Jones Family - centerpieces, coming to event
Crystal at Hands - flowers for 3 moms
Wes Cockman - coming to celebrate
Kathy and Doug Potter - set up at 7:30 a.m.
Mark and Ty Heckelmann - Syrup and will be at event, manning a Pancake Station?
Regina Wixson - bringing an Electric Griddle
Bill Nicas - Large Fruit Tray and will be at event
Diane Johnson - coming to event, clean up
Sue and Warren Kortz - navy tablecloths, making coffee, coordinate event, will be there at 7:30 a.m.
Melissa Grissom family- Paper goods, Pancake mix (batter for 50 pancakes), Syrup, Griddle, Spatula, Butter, Chocolate chips and manning a Pancake station, will be there at about 8 a.m.
Michele Trask family - Pancake mix (batter for 50 pancakes, and an extra box in case!), Butter, Syrup, 2 Spatulas, Ladle, Pam Spray, Extension Cord or 2, will be there around 8 a.m.
Cody Lefebre - coming to event and bringing friends!

Requirements
Responsibilities
- Hosting a single mom or widow family, including putting together a gift of a "car-care bag" including jumper cables, gas card, trash bag, Clorox wipes, air freshener, cup holders, etc.
- Set up at approximately 7:30 a.m.
- Clean up after at approximately 11:00 a.m.
- Food (pancake breakfast, fruit, coffee, water)
- Used car donations welcome!
