I have supported and worked with Rudy Chacon who founded Team Dunamis 7-8 years ago. Traditionally, I do a teaching devotional during the meal and Rudy does a "School of Dunamis" teaching afterwards.
Participants are feed both physically and spiritually over the evening. In the past two years the participant numbers have grown, including women and a few families, with a steady weekly flow. Several have been capable of finding employment, housing, and Jesus in their lives. Some are now Dunamis volunteers giving back to this ministry.
Every Wednesday night, I leave amazed at what has been shared, taught and verbally said by the participants. I leave humbled because of Jesus' love expressed by so many!
