4CD03 - Crossroads of the Rockies Community Garden Planting

You will be working with a leader from Grow Local to prepare and plant the community garden that Crossroads maintains throughout the summer. The gardens being planted will be harvested in the Fall for Crossroads food bank. Grow Local provides seedlings, and Crossroads has gardening tools.

Your support with this event will be providing food to hungry families at the end of the summer when the vegetables are harvested!

A little bit about Crossroads of the Rockies:

Crossroads of the Rockies is a non-profit, Christian, compassion center that serves the communities around it. They seek to provide resources for the needs of their communities. Currently they are operating a food bank; a clothing distribution center; kids programs, ESL, adult programs, and various special events for the entire community.

Meeting Place: 910 Vallejo St. Denver, Co 80219

Time: 4pm-6pm

Project Attire: Wear your Love In Action t-shirt, clothes you don't mind getting dirty and appropriate shoes.

Parking Directions: There will be street parking available as this is a neighborhood. The garden will be in the backyard of the home so please walk through the alley on the side of the house to the backyard!
